Brands hiring journalists: a continuously updated list

We’ve always thought of media as something that’s created by traditional media companies — newspapers, magazines, radio programs, TV shows and even news websites — but that’s changing as more and more organizations produce their own editorial content.

We see this in news of traditional journalists joining non-traditional publishers and broadcasters. While it might seem like they’ve left the media, their new roles are very similar, with professionals continuing to report, write and produce.

To document this trend, here is a continuously updated list of stories from around the web about journalists finding new opportunities in this evolving media landscape. It might also help journalists planning career changes to demonstrate the diversity of options that still utilize much of their existing skill sets.
